I think it is a different kind of dust.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Particulates
the house dust is heavier and bigger. In general it is absorbed by your nose and lungs and you cough it out
PM2.5 is worse as it goes into the blood (so they say
).
And this sensor measures this kind of dust - comes from burining coal etc.
also by default - the device measures each 10 minutes - so it spins the fan for 30 seconds in the beginning and then each 10 minutes for 30 seconds.
you can change this in the config tool if you go to "Settings" and then in Interval Active and Quiet enter a value less than 300
in this case - each 60 seconds it will spin for 6 seconds to see if there was a bigger change in dust, and if there was - it will spin for another 24 seconds to make a correct measurement.
your device does not have a temperature sensor
- Temperature Sensor (not with CM1102): No
but if you have some BME280, SI7021, BMP180 you can add it, or i can send you.
it is a bit tricky to add it though as the box is quite packed
and the Dust sensor reports in microgram per cubic meter
just a couple of minutes ago i explained a bit more details about the levels

and on this site http://aqicn.org/city/bulgaria/sofia/pavlovo/
you can see how it is in my city, and find the closes to yours
