Connected the monitor to an USB power supply with 5.2 V, 2.1 A output. The LED lit up white (very bright) and now the monitor isn't sending data or recognized anymore on my computer.
Did I fry it?
Hmmm was it original charger or some clone (sometimes they give out more)
Was it working well before ?
Recognized, you mean.. Serial port is not detected?
I will send you tomorrow a new main board for free

Nice!
It is a kind of an original charger. I bought it for my Raspberry Pi 2, this needs a pretty steady supply. So I thought, maybe it works fine for the monitor also... Too bad it didn't.
Indeed it is not recognized as an device on my computer.
i also believe i have one here fried, at least not responding as well. I just haven't yet found time to debug and see what happened to it... let's hope soon i will check it.
Unfortunately today when i went to the post i forgot to take your package

i will send it on monday
Sorry...
yeah.. i sent it last thursday or wednesday. i hope you will get it this week
Yes, received it yesterday! Thanks, looks like it is working fine again.
